By the end of the nineties a group of managers, technicians, experts, auditors and consultants form the organizational field, were oriented to create a methodology for the supply of quality insertion, especially in low average and average European companies.
The group had been working during many years in the field of quality insertion, treatment of Human Resources and development of training in the field of ISO standards.
In 1998 this people shared information and experiences in order to improve the methodology on the insertion of quality systems.
The cooperation and the contributions turned to become more and more relevant between them. Thus, the decision for the development of a worldwide organization was made. Such organization took the name of World Quality Organization, and its first president was Andres Senlle Szodo.
The aim of such organization was and still is: To cooperate with managers from several countries transferring the systems rules and methods in order to achieve success in the long journey of quality and excellence.
One of the founders, Alexander Rodriguez Pereira, with a vast experience working in the consulting field for low average companies in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy (more than two thousand in thirty years) come up with a phrase that resembles the project concept and objective : "Quality is not supposed to be a privilege for a few, but a law for everyone."
In 1999 The WQO was born.
